Apfelstrudel

While drinking a glass of wine and cooking at her apartment in Berlin, Isabel and I used to get
engaged in long conversations every now and then since we have met on the stage ten years ago.
In the same setting we now meet again, transforming the living room into a stage, inviting
guests to witness and take part.
Somewhere between a simple daily activity and a spectacular performance – but neither here nor there,
we cook and talk. The Apfelstrudel that we prepare in turns absorbs our conversation – questions,
answers or silences – and is then served to the guests, so that a new conversation may begin.
And as one of the guests had to declare at the end: Daheim is da, wo es schmeckt!
