Opposing - מִנֶּגֶד

A series of quotes, drawn from interviews with former residents of the Musrara neighbourhood
in West-Jerusalem, visualised and complicated with “foreign” archival and historical materials.
Opposing the masculine ethos of the Israeli Black-Panthers movement, which was initiated in the
underprivileged neighbourhood between 1960-1970, the selected quotes bring to the fore stories
of minor, private feminine resistance.
