Walking Sticks

Invited by the nomadic museum ZUMU, I have spent some wonderful fall weeks in Arad, a small town in the Israeli
desert region. Learning about the different challenges such a peripheral town is confronted with - for instance,
deteriorating infrastructure and an unbalanced age distribution - and inspired by the surrounding hiking landscape,
I created a collection of walking sticks to function as "aids" for the visitors of the temporary exhibition.
